Those people? That send you money when you do stuff for them? Those people are called customers. When you’re a small business owner, customers are vital to the success and life of your business. After all, where would you be without them? All communication with your customers should be as professional and as helpful as possible; go out of your way to keep them satisfied—you need them!
Are you trying to keep or lose customers? To respond in such a way as to blame your potential customer for not being able to get in touch with you, and to do so in a public forum is completely unprofessional; it shows a lack of business sense, to say the least.
Yet again, blaming the customer will certainly have an effect, but probably not the one you’re looking for. Unless of course, you’re trying to cut down on the number of pesky people that keep wanting to pay you for a service.
You know there’s a problem with your business practices when one customer is having to give you e-mail advice on how to reach another customer. Either hire a professional administrative assistant who knows how to properly respond to clients, or take a few business classes.
That’s it; class dismissed.
